Medic!

You've seen her before, but she's had a bit of a redesign, and I'm still working her through a bit.

Mr. Klipse

Mr. Klipse is probably being mean to somebody. Maybe his assistant, Luke Nar! That would so be like Mr. Klipse.

PS: Yes, he likes stabbing people with that knife.

Solin Fashion Designs

Back in high school I tried to write a novel. I did character designs, of course, and this is an updated version of two of them:

Panacea Prola

Based off of this butterfly.

Songs

Over at ConceptArt.org they have this competition/activity called "CHOW" or "Character of the Week". I've only just participated in it, for their most recent CHOW, Morrigan. (Warning: Link NSFW due to nudity) You can see my entry along with others in the thread.

Before that, my sister would tell me about them, and I actually drew sketches for one of them, but never submitted them:

They were based on these songs: Mack the Knife, Waltzin' Black, Marco Polo.

By the by, I didn't do one for "le colombarium" because I've been there, done that.

Medusa

A drawing of Medusa in a slightly different style than my usual:

ZM/2009

Every once in a while, I just like drawing Medusa. I think it's the snakes. Because of this, I tend to experiment a bit more than usual. See also:

Jude

I really didn't like Jude's design from the original Happiness Fairies, so I did a complete overhaul.

I like this one much better. As you can see, I kept the glasses.

Order

From a comic my sister and I were working on. My designs for armor were very loosely based off of hers:

Maurus

Coin

Xanthe

King Hal and the Queen of Faeries

Freya

From a story of mine. I drew this earlier, experimenting with artful messiness in Illustrator.

I can't get my scanner to work properly, hence all the computer stuff, sorry.

A pantheon of gods for a story I've been working on. I designed the alphabet - from left to right, top to bottom: Davuth, Kukeki, Unygu, Vagozke, Huvuth, Giziya, Kavuth, Ilosach (same person, different genders), Viteth, Fikuth, and Gawlu. I think I messed up on a couple of them.

Vange, who is a psychopomp/grim reaper. I quite like his design, though this version doesn't have his t-shirt, which is a pity.
